Who we are:
Irish Homes is a subsidiary of Liberty Homes, a national producer of systems built homes for nearly seventy years. Since 1988, Irish Homes has developed and sold four communities here in Elkhart, and we’ve provided new homes for thousands of people throughout Michiana. With our Indiana Real Estate license we have assisted our customers in the sale of their existing home as well as help them find their new home site.

Reputation:
We are members of the National Association of Home Builders, The National Association of Realtors, The Elkhart Chamber of Commerce and the Northeast Indiana Better Business Bureau. At Irish Homes, you'll be dealing with a builder of established reputation.

Kerryhaven:
We’ve anchored our reputation building and selling four communities around Elkhart, including our current offering, Kerryhaven, in Cleveland Township. When you visit our model homes in Kerryhaven, you’ll be amazed at just how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood truly is. Yet, in five minutes, you can be in Elkhart enjoying lunch at Mancino’s or Fazoli’s, doing your grocery shopping at Kroger’s or Martin’s Supermarket. You can have your prescriptions filled at CVS pharmacy, and you’ll have access to all kinds of medical facilities including the Elkhart Clinic and Elkhart General Hospital. The finest retail shopping in Michiana is only 15 minutes away at the University Park area.

Pricing:
We price our homes to include set-up onto your existing foundation and freight within 50 miles of Elkhart. We also have a basic site-work package that makes certain assumptions regarding your particular home site. We contract based on those assumptions and contingent on a thorough review of your site and the amenities you wish to add at your site.

Home Features:
Our homes are all built with 6” exterior walls with R19 Insulation, R38 Ceiling Insulation and Dual Pane windows with Low E Glass for superior energy efficiency.

Every Irish Home has a minimum 5.5/12 roof Pitch built with 40# Roof Load trusses and 30 Year Warranty Fiberglass Roof Shingles; we use OSB siding backer and windwrap behind our Double 4 Dutch Lap vinyl siding. All this provides a sturdy, durable, attractive, low maintenance exterior on your new home.

Our kitchens are built with real wood cabinetry featuring adjustable overhead shelves, sturdy “hidden” hinges and laminated countertop backsplash. We include a stainless steel sink with single lever faucet, vegetable sprayer and a dishwasher.

You’ll also find real wood cabinetry and laminated backsplash in our baths. Our 36” high master bath vanity height supports our china lav bowls including single lever faucets, and popup drains. Our one piece fiberglass tub and showers come with an anti-scald single lever faucet diverter. We include bath vent fans to remove moisture and lights over the mirrors to add a touch of elegance.

We have hundreds of plans to choose from, from 1060 square foot ranches, cape cod plans, two-story homes – even duplex plans. We have numerous bedroom and bath arrangements in our designs and plenty of upgraded amenities to choose from. All of this is backed by our one year builder’s warranty and Liberty Homes’ 70 years of business experience.
